Sunset Serum

Serums help to calm and nourish skin after cleansing and toning. Serums do their best work through pores that have been opened through washing with warm water. Apply to clean, dry skin at night before bed.. Play around with what works for you, but a few drops will go a long way! After a serum is applied, it should be left to soak in completely, for at least 15 minutes, before applying a moisturizer over it, (if you choose to do so). You want serums to have maximum contact with skin because they are full of lovely oils that are easily absorbed and rich in all things that skin craves.

Grapeseed oil is a light oil that adsorbs quickly. It repairs skin’s tone and elasticity. Argan oil is loaded with omega fatty acids. Both oils contain vitamin E and linoleic acids. This will help to moisturize, nourish and protect skin from environmental damage. Evening Primrose is a common wildflower which only opens in the evening. Its seeds contain omega-6 fatty acids and gamma-linolenic acid. It improves elasticity, has wrinkle-fighting constituents, fights inflammation, moisturizes and soothes skin. It helps to promote a clear and healthy complexion. Rosehip Seed oil is moisturizing, contains essential fatty acids and provitamin A, (highly protective against inflammation and oxidative skin damage). It assists in skin cell regeneration, smoothing the appearance of fine lines, scars and wrinkles. Pomegranate Seed oil is extremely nutrient rich with many skin benefits. It is rich in flavonoids and punicic acid (an anti-inflammatory, omega-5 fatty acid), and bioflavonoids (a natural SPF, fighting free radicals and shielding skin from sun damage, thus delaying visible signs of aging). Marula oil comes from the nut of a sacred tree. It contains amino acids which help maintain hydration and with this, the appearance of ageing. It has fatty acids that act as emollients and are moisturizing. It hydrates skin and promotes elasticity and an even complexion.Marula oil also contains antioxidants that fight free radicals and stave off skin damage caused by pollution and ultraviolet rays from the sun.
